Forse cambieremo noi, anzi \u00e8 sperabile che cambieremo, \nscegliendo di non avere pi\u00f9 tempo per le bagattelle. Avremo pi\u00f9 \nattenzione per ci\u00f2 che ha la capacit\u00e0 di imporsi e durare. Determinate \ntradizioni figurative torneranno a avvicinarsi, altre pi\u00f9 recenti si \neclisseranno. Una rigenerata familiarit\u00e0 con l\u2019Antico pu\u00f2 aiutarci a \nscegliere l\u2019essenziale, sembra anzi guidarci con mano impercettibile\n nella giusta direzione. Astuzia o humour sono certo importanti in arte;\n ma non sono tutto. Ci sono interi ambiti di esperienza che si \u00e8 \ncreduto, sin dal secondo decennio del Novecento, di poter ignorare: \nambiti che avevano a che fare con motivazioni o circostanze primarie \ndella vita di ciascuno, come dolore, gloria, paura, furore, speranza o \naltro. Con l\u2019inesplicabilit\u00e0 della vita stessa. Se c\u2019\u00e8 qualcosa che \nlascia insoddisfatti in gran parte dell&#8217;arte pi\u00f9 recente e la rende meno\n necessaria &#8211; come non pensare qui a Duchamp e a tutto quel che ne segue\n &#8211; ebbene, questo \u00e8 anche da cercare nella rimozione del limite e del \nmistero, che \u00e8 cosa da adolescenti; nel rifiuto della vulnerabilit\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">***<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"justify-text\">I don&#8217;t think &#8220;art world&#8221;  will change after the pandemic, as some believe. Maybe it will be us who  will change, indeed one can hope we will change, choosing not to have  more time for the baubles. We will have more attention for what has the  ability to impose itself and last. Certain figurative traditions will  come closer, others, more recent, will be eclipsed. A renewed  familiarity with the Ancient can help us choose the perennial, indeed it  seems to guide us with an imperceptible hand in the right direction.  Malice or humor are certainly important in art; but this is not  everything. There are entire spheres of experience with which, since the  second decade of the twentieth century, we believed we could ignore it:  spheres that had to do with motivations or primary circumstances, such  as pain, glory, fright, hope or other. With the inexplicability of life  itself.
